Attendance Policy:
As a student, you are required to attend training events on time, and make your best effort to complete training within the time frame of the program. If you are unable to meet the participation requirements and you wish to resume training after a long period of inactivity, SJC will quote an updated program to accommodate your needs.
If you are unable to meet the requirements of this attendance policy, SJC may discontinue your training program.
Flight Training Elements:
The training consists of the following elements:
• Ground School Training.
• Systems Integration in our Ground School Training device.
• Simulator training in Level D Full Flight Simulators with briefing and de-briefing.
The training program requires a full-time commitment. Because schedules are built to maximize student return on investment and keep students on schedule with projected completion dates, weekend and sometimes holiday training will likely be required.
Success in our training sometimes requires flexibility and adaptability. There may be delays due to maintenance, weather, and other factors outside of SJC’s control. Students are expected to be adaptable to schedule changes.
Student Preparedness Policy:
You must arrive well-prepared for each session. This means that you will arrive with all study assignments complete, and home study work complete.
If you are scheduled for a simulator session, and weather or maintenance becomes a factor, you are still expected to arrive on time for training. Your instructor will decide the appropriate course of action which may include substituting the planned lesson with another suitable to the conditions.
SJC understands that extenuating circumstances do occur and will allow exceptions to this policy at its sole discretion.
Discontinued Training Refund Policy:
You or SJC reserves the right to terminate your training at any time. SJC at its sole discretion will determine the reason for the termination and the expenses incurred. Based upon that determination SJC might offer a pro-rated refund which will be issued within 15 days following program termination.
